Hear From Our Owner on What This Company Means to Him
Why did you start this company?
I wish I could say that I had this grand vision of building a kick ass company that makes a real difference in the lives of our employees and our customers but the truth be told I was just trying to pay my bills. It wasn’t until years later that a vision started to form on what could be. I am proud to say that we employee over 140 employees and have truly made a difference in the lives of our employees, their families as well as our customers!
What is your favorite part about running this business?
It’s the relationships that I have been able to form within our tribe. It’s when an employee shares that they are buying a new home maybe they paid off a credit card or that they are having a baby! It’s seeing our employees be able to grow into their better self. It comes down to being able to make a direct impact on the lives of our employees and their families.
How many customers have you helped?
I am not certain of the exact number of customers that we have helped but I’m sure it is way past 50,000 homeowners.
What does redefine our industry mean to you?
The majority of the traditional business models concentrate solely on the customer and trying to make a difference in the customer’s life. Our model is slightly different. The work that we perform is just a vehicle to bring in revenue. What we really do is make a difference in the lives of our employees! Our bet is that a homeowner would rather have an inspired employee working on their home vs just an hourly employee. We feel that if we can change our employees’ lives then our employees will change the life of our customer.
What is one word to describe your company?
When we do surveys asking our team to describe the company the word that is repeated the most is family!
