Amy in Charlotte, NC contacted Dry Pro because water was coming into her basement. She thought she may have needed a french drain installed, but wanted someone to do a full evaluation of her basement and crawlspace. When our System Design Specialist went out to check her property he not only saw the need to waterproof her basement but also encapsulate the crawlspace and add some support to the home’s structure.
After our System Design Specialist performed his evaluation, our Structural Production Manager, James came out to make sure everything was squared away for the structural repair. Why he was there he noticed that the stairs in the basement would be in the way of our waterproofing crew.
To start the project off, James temporarily removed the stairs from the basement, so that our waterproofing crew could begin their installations. Adan, Chino, and Antonio installed 20mil CrawlSeal™ Encapsulation, a Relative Humidity Monitor, a DryPro Dehumidifier, and an Upper Duct Kit in the crawlspace. In the basement, they installed a UltraPro Triple Sump Pump, WallSeal™, YardWell™ Outlet, Pipe &Sock, BasementGutter™ with Inspection Ports and an Interior Trench Drain tied into the BasementGutter™System.
After the waterproofing was complete the Structural Repair crew came in and installed two 8ft IntelliJacks™ in the basement. They also reinstalled the stairs they removed for the waterproofers.
In the photo, you can see one of the WallSeal™ and the two IntelliJacks™ installed in the basement as, well as the stairs we had to move.
