Enita was noticing a smell coming from her unfinished basement. She feared that her basement was affecting her daughter’s allergies. She contacted Dry Pro to have her basement evaluated and get an estimate on the repairs. System Design Specialist Mike inspected her property. Mike reported that the basement was part dirt, part concrete, with a lot of debris on the ground. The current sump pump needed to be replaced and moved because it was not installed in the lowest part of the crawlspace. He also found mold, falling insulation, high humidity levels and evidence of water intrusion.
The Dry Pro crew came in and remediated the mold and removed the falling insulation. They removed and filled the old sump pump and installed a SafeDri™ Sump Pump with drainage system in the basement’s low point. They installed a 92 ft BasementGutter™ System and a WallSeal™ Wall Liner to cover the dirt wall leading down to the BasementGutter™ System. They also hung a new DuctKit that extended from the basement into the crawlspace. After they installed 10mil CrawlSeal Encapsulation a DryPro Dehumidifier to control the humidity levels in the basement.
Enita was very satisfied with the improvements our crew made to her basement.
